Advance Cargo Information to China Customs
Please be informed about the additional requirement of advance cargo information for China customs as follow.
*China customs issued a new regulation No.144 to ease the current mandatory items on FWB/FHL.
Applicable Shipment
All shipment to ChinaMandatory Items
Following information is required on AWB and HAWB.（a）Shipper's postal address
（b）Consignee's postal address
（c）shipper's Tel or Fax number
（d）consignee's Tel or Fax number
（e）Notify party's corporate registration code & Tel or Fax number (if applicable)
＜No longer require＞
（f）Shipper's corporate registration code (identifier type and number)
（g）Consignee's corporate registration code (identifier type and number)
（h）Name and contact number of Consignee's Specific Contact Person
*It is still no problem for customs to receive FWB/FHL which contains above.
How to Provide the Information
Please provide MAWB/HAWB data in one of the following way.※ If you provide it by FWB/FHL, please also input in AWB/House manifest too.
1) By FWB / FHL electric messages
- Acceptable message versions : must be more that FWB ver.16 / FHL ver.4
- Please input Telephone/Fax number in Shipper's/Consignee's name and address field just after ZIP code.
2) By paper documents (AWB / House manifest)
- Please provide mandatory items written in "Shipper/Consignee's name and address" on AWB and/or cargo manifest.
Shipment Description
Shipment description shall be required.※ Please refer the example in the following attachment.
